Jacob Prasch & Moriel request prayer for two of our orphan children in our children's homes in Africa. One is Paulina at Ebyown who has been hospitalized with serious infection and suspected kidney stones. Paulina suffers from severe spinabifida and paralysis from birth.
The other is little Themba from Bezaleel. The report from Africa on Themba from Sal & Di follows below.
We are just writing to ask you to pray on behalf of our friends Allen and Sue Well's who run a ministry, called Bezaleel which provides a home for 11 children which are all home schooled by Sue. Bezaleel is not an orphanage but a family with Allen and Sue being the parents. This ministry is under Moriel.
Recently one of the children, Themba, developed a lump on his neck which grew very large. The family pediatric doctor has identified it as a form of TB, (as he believes the signs are obvious,) where there is a primary infection in his lung, with the lump being classed as a secondary infection. The doctor has drained it but within a day Themba's lump was back and if it bursts it will create a sinus cavity which will permanently seep and be prone to infection. The doctor already put Themba on TB medication which Sue is hoping will kick in soon.
Please pray for them as they wait for results of his tests and that God would keep Themba. If any surgery is needed please pray that God will provide a way to meet any costs. At this moment all we can do is pray and wait for results while Themba keeps getting his lump drained. If his TB did get worse it could mean that he would need to be in quarantine but we are trusting that the TB medication will prevent that from happening.
We also request prayer for Joseph Jones, a young boy whose parents lead a Moriel affiliated fellowship in England near Birmingham in Walsall. Joseph suffers serious epilepsy and his latest medical exam and MRI scan indicate a serious deterioration. Please keep Joseph and his family in prayer.
Pastor George, his wife, and family in Madurai, India - Mother-in-law & father-in-law in India were beaten with iron rods. Mother-in-law has passed away.

Needed Volunteer Qualified Nurse / Medical Missionary To Children
Place: Ebyown Childrens Village, South Africa. The village has now become a registered childrens home with a real sense of family and not institution. We aim to provide a loving team environment centred on Christ and are developing our skills base as we grow.
Job description: The nursing care of special needs children. Administration of medicines. Recording of medical information. Maintaining all aspects of first aid. The training of care staff on an ongoing basis. The counseling of patients in a wide variety of health situations. Ordering of medical supplies and equipment. Coordinating medical appointments for children.
A British standard nursing qualification is recognised in South Africa.
We can offer: Return air ticket, accomadation, food and many other benefits.
Time Period: Must be able to give a minumum of one year
The person: Must love the Lord, Love children and display a compassionate nature. Must be able to gel with our team here and be self motivated.
